Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled exciting details about its new on-property hotel, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, set to open at the upcoming Epic Universe theme park. This 500-room resort will feature its own exclusive park entrance for guests, offering a seamless transition from luxurious accommodations to thrilling adventures.

Described as “the crown jewel of Epic Universe,” the hotel will welcome guests into an airy lobby with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the park’s lush gardens. Rooms are designed to evoke the serenity of a garden retreat, with many offering views of the park. Unique features include kids’ suites themed to How To Train Your Dragon, joining existing favorites like Despicable Me and Jurassic World.

Amenities include a resort-style pool with underwater speakers, a game room, and a Universal Orlando Resort Store. Dining options range from casual grab-and-go to upscale experiences, including the rooftop Bar Helios, offering 360-degree views of Epic Universe and Orlando, and the full-service Flora Taverna.

The Universal Helios Grand Hotel is one of three new hotels opening at Universal Orlando in 2025, along with the Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort. These additions will bring the resort’s total to 11 hotels with 11,000 rooms. Guests staying at Universal hotels will continue to enjoy perks like Early Park admission and complimentary shuttle service to Universal CityWalk and the theme parks.
