Heidi Klum has lived in the same home since 2013. Before she bought it, the property belonged to Ed Weinberger, best known for co-creating The Cosby Show. It sits in a quiet gated community between Bel Air and Sherman Oaks called Stoneridge Estates. Just a few houses away, a contemporary estate has been listed for sale. The asking price is 25 million dollars. Allen Roth with Sotheby’s International Realty is handling the listing. You can view the full property here.

Design and Architecture

The home was designed by Assembledge+, an architecture firm based in Los Angeles. It was completed in 2010 and offers more than 11,500 square feet of space on a 1.14-acre lot. Materials like glass, concrete, brick, and wood appear throughout the design. Wide windows open the house up to views of the San Fernando Valley.

Exterior Features

From the street, the house has a clean and minimal presence. A cobblestone motor court leads to a three-car garage. There’s also a separate carport with enough room for ten additional vehicles. The front of the home features red brick with sections of translucent glass, giving it a subtle but distinct look.

Interior Layout and Living Spaces

Inside, hardwood floors lead into an open gallery-style entry. There’s a marble bar along one wall. Opposite the stairs, a light sculptural piece adds contrast against steel and wood. The living room has a fireplace. The dining area fits twelve comfortably. In the kitchen, two skylights bring in natural light. A long island with a built-in cooktop connects to a casual lounge area nearby.

The layout is open. Some walls stop below the ceiling. Rooms connect without doors. On the second floor, the primary suite begins with a hallway that has built-in shelving. The bedroom is set apart from the bathroom by a wood-paneled divider. There’s also a large walk-in closet and a sitting room with glass windows that look toward the sunset.

Five more bedrooms are located throughout the home, each with its own bath. The house also includes a wine cellar and a private screening room with leather recliners and stepped seating.

Outdoor Amenities

The backyard is surrounded by tall trees, which help keep the space private. There are several areas set up for outdoor dining and lounging. A zero-edge pool runs along the back of the house. There’s also a fire pit, a built-in barbecue, and a small waterfall that finishes off the landscaped yard.
