The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel has officially opened on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, marking Corinthia Hotels’ North American debut. The 16-story luxury property, with interiors by Martin Brudnizki and a restored grand façade by Schwartz & Gross, features 70 rooms, 30 suites, and 14 private residences.

The Surrey’s interiors blend Upper East Side charm with modern sophistication, featuring bespoke furnishings, Murano chandeliers, and vintage-inspired windows. Guestrooms offer varied color schemes, from soft blue to terracotta, to reflect a high-end Upper East Side residence. The property also hosts Casa Tua, an upscale Italian-Mediterranean restaurant designed by architect Michele Bönan, which emphasizes custom Italian craftsmanship.
