Swatch Group has announced management changes within its luxury watch brands. Starting October 1, Gregory Kissling, currently Omega’s vice president of product, will become the new CEO of Breguet. He replaces Lionel a Marca, who will transition to a new role at Blancpain as vice-president of operations and head of manufacturing for Swatch Group’s Prestige Brands.

The Swatch Group, led by Marc A. Hayek, is facing challenges this year, including a 3.3% drop in watch exports and a 70% dip in net profit for the first half of 2024, largely due to a consumption slowdown in China. These executive changes are part of a larger generational shift, with other key roles also being adjusted, such as the recent appointments at Tissot and Glashütte Original.

Kissling has been with Omega since 2004, while a Marca, a veteran in the Swatch Group, moves on after decades of service at Breguet, where he managed production before being appointed CEO in 2021.
