Super Buddha is a global artist whose work blends the eastern and the west culture through fine art and spiritual depth, captivating audiences from Miami to the Middle East.

Born to an American pilot, Super Buddha spent his formative years in China, moving there at age 13. He was the only American in his school and immersed himself in the local culture while nurturing his passion for art. Ironically, much of the art he encountered in China was American in style. It was a time of self-discovery and creative exploration — sadness often drove him to paint, and by his teenage years, he pioneered the graffiti movement in China, monetizing his talent in what he describes as the “Wild West” of art. This freedom allowed him to live boldly and unapologetically.

However, during those years, he faced a deep depression, losing touch with himself and life’s joys. A turning point came when he watched Scarface, which inspired him to move to Miami — a city that would soon become central to his story.

At 21, Super Buddha arrived in Miami with nothing but his vision. Family friends welcomed him, and he began anew in an unknown city that captivated him. For three years, he would rise at 2 AM to spray paint the streets of Wynwood, building brand awareness one wall at a time, talk about a soul set on fire for his life purpose.

A chance encounter changed everything: after selling a Louis Vuitton backpack adorned with his artwork to a buyer in Spain, the woman later reconnected with him with a remarkable opportunity — to work with the Vatican and the Pope. He was offered to showcase his talent at the Vatican, which sold for $70,000 — a historic achievement for an artist so early in his career. This series of divine alignments reaffirmed his faith in God and cemented his artistic direction.

Today, Super Buddha’s art is embraced by global icons, including members of the Saudi royal family, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, and many others.

His latest body of work, the 2025 Cherry Blossom Collection, consists of seven paintings representing the seven chakras and seven colors. The collection is not for sale; it is designed to tour globally, inviting viewers to reflect on impermanence and the power of presence — a reminder to embrace the here and now.

In recognition of his contributions, Super Buddha was selected by the City of Miami to paint live on the red carpet at the grand opening of the Miami World Trade Center, a night shared with performances by Shaggy and Alesso.
