Stüssy is set to reopen its New York flagship store this Friday, offering a fresh take on its physical retail presence. Designed in collaboration with Willo Perron of Perron-Roettinger, the new New York Chapter follows the aesthetic seen in the brand’s Milan, Singapore, Beijing, and Fukuoka locations. The store features a dark-tiled façade with interiors blending minimalism and postmodern influences. Wooden elements contrast with metallic shelving, while speckled marble columns and cream-colored cement walls add texture. A set of Kristen Wentrcek & Andrew Zebulon green corner sofas bring warmth to the space.

Originally launched from California’s surf scene, Stüssy cemented its legacy in New York’s streetwear culture when it opened its first store in the early 1990s. Its former SoHo flagship at 176 Spring Street closed in late 2023, marking a shift in the brand’s retail strategy. In October, Stüssy announced plans for a new permanent location in Nolita. The New York Chapter will officially open at 50 Prince St. on February 14 at 11 a.m. EST. Fans can follow Stüssy’s social platforms for updates.
