Saint Laurent is expanding beyond fashion with the opening of Sushi Park Paris, an immersive culinary and shopping experience in collaboration with Sushi Park’s founding chef, Peter Park. Opening February 21, the restaurant marks Sushi Park’s first permanent location outside Los Angeles and will be housed inside the newly renovated Saint Laurent RIVE DROITE boutique in Paris’s first arrondissement, near the Tuileries and Place Vendôme. This venture follows Saint Laurent’s recent expansion into literature and art with the BABYLONE bookstore and gallery, curated by creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

To celebrate the launch, Saint Laurent debuted a short film on Instagram, directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, featuring house ambassadors Lourdes Leon, Saint Levant, and Dominic Sessa. The film showcases the boutique’s dark, sculptural interiors and exclusive ceramics by Professor Kim. The project falls under Saint Laurent Productions, which was established in 2023 and has collaborated with directors like David Cronenberg, Nadia Lee Cohen, and Paolo Sorrentino, as well as co-produced Jacques Audiard’s Oscar-nominated Emilia Perez.

Saint Laurent joins other luxury brands diversifying their offerings, such as Gucci’s Michelin-starred Osteria, Jacquemus’s partnership with Caviar Kaspia, and Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales film series. As high-end retailers rethink the in-person shopping experience, these ventures signal a shift toward lifestyle-driven luxury spaces. Sushi Park Paris at RIVE DROITE will be open Tuesday through Saturday starting February 21, with reservations available via phone, email, and online.
