Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is investing over £300 million to expand its Goodwood manufacturing facility, marking the brand’s largest capital investment since the plant opened in 2003. The expansion supports growing demand for bespoke projects, the development of coachbuilt masterpieces, and the marque’s shift towards a fully electric future. Site preparation for the expansion began in 2024, a year that also celebrated the 120th anniversary of the meeting between founders Charles Rolls and Henry Royce.

The marque achieved the third-highest sales in its history in 2024, delivering 5,712 cars globally. North America remained its largest market, while regions like the Middle East, Europe, and Asia Pacific set new sales records. Demand in China surged, driven by younger clients engaging with Rolls-Royce through bespoke creations and its Shanghai Private Office, which opened in 2023.
