Miu Miu will continue its cultural engagement at Salone del Mobile in Milan with the second edition of its Literary Club. The 2025 event, titled A Woman’s Education, will take place on April 9 and 10 at the Circolo Filologico Milanese, the city’s oldest cultural association. This year’s program will focus on girlhood, love, and sex education, drawing inspiration from the works of French existentialist Simone de Beauvoir and renowned Shöwa-era Japanese author Fumiko Enchi.

The full schedule will be announced soon, but Miu Miu has confirmed plans for conversations and live performances featuring interdisciplinary female talent. The initiative builds on last year’s Writing Life event, which celebrated Italian literary figures Sibilla Aleramo and Alba de Céspedes through discussions on women’s roles in society, readings, and music performances at the same venue. Wrapped in Miu Miu-designed packaging, featured books included Aleramo’s A Woman—Italy’s first feminist novel—and de Céspedes’ Forbidden Notebook.

The 2024 event featured acclaimed speakers such as Jhumpa Lahiri, Claudia Durastanti, Sheila Heti, Viola Di Grado, Selby Wynn Schwartz, and Xiaolu Guo. With its Literary Club, Miu Miu continues to merge fashion with intellectual discourse, reinforcing its commitment to literature and cultural dialogue.
