Louis Vuitton unveiled its most extensive high jewellery collection, “Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds,” in the picturesque setting of Saint-Tropez. Conceived by Artistic Director Francesca Amfitheatrof, the collection celebrates 19th-century France, a period of immense creativity and innovation, coinciding with Louis Vuitton’s early years in Paris.

The collection features 220 unique pieces adorned with exquisite, rare precious stones, including traceable Mozambican rubies that glow under UV light, a 12-carat Zambian emerald, and sapphires from Kashmir, Sri Lanka, and Madagascar. The highlight is a 56.23-carat intense pink diamond, named the Coeur de Paris.

Craftsmanship is paramount in this collection. The Splendeur collar, one of the most complex pieces, required 17 setters and 30 jewellers to mount 2,400 elements over 3,217 hours of work.

Presented in a private chateau overlooking the Mediterranean, the collection embodies the essence of French luxury and Louis Vuitton’s heritage. “Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds” tells a story that’s very close to who we are,” said Amfitheatrof. “This collection signifies everything that is true to the Maison, true to French luxury, true to Art de Vivre.”
