Kimpton, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, is set to open a boutique luxury hotel and branded residences in Monterrey, Mexico. Scheduled to debut in 2026, Kimpton Monterrey will occupy the Torre Rise, the soon-to-be tallest tower in Latin America.

Developed by Grupo Alora and operated by Marca Hotel Solutions, the property will feature 120 guestrooms and 60 private residences. Guests and residents will enjoy panoramic views of Monterrey’s skyline and the surrounding Sierra Madre mountains. The hotel’s offerings will include a wellness center with an indoor pool, sauna, and massage rooms, as well as a restaurant, bar, and lobby lounge on the 16th floor. It will also have 1,244 square meters of meeting and event space.

Monterrey, a hub of business and culture with stunning natural landscapes, will further benefit from Torre Rise’s cutting-edge amenities, including a sky deck, performance center, luxury retail spaces, and an elevated park.

Alejandro Chávez, CEO of Grupo Alora, celebrated the partnership, noting its significance in strengthening ties with IHG and introducing Kimpton to Monterrey. He emphasized the value of offering both a world-class hotel and innovative branded residences in the city.

Kimpton Monterrey will join other properties in Mexico, including Kimpton Virgilio in Mexico City and Kimpton Aluna Resort in Tulum, with future openings like the Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya and a boutique property in Polanco.
