Disney Cruise Line is set to launch its newest ship, the Disney Treasure, next month with a maiden voyage from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Caribbean. Measuring 221 feet tall and 1,119 feet long, the ship can accommodate 4,000 passengers and 1,555 crew members. This debut marks a significant step in Disney’s plan to double its fleet by 2031, which includes two new ships in 2025, the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure, as well as additional vessels and expansion into Japan.

Plaza de Coco, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Coco, is among the many themed dining experiences aboard the Treasure cruise ship.

The Treasure’s standout features include rotational dining with themed restaurants like Plaza de Coco, inspired by the film Coco, and Worlds of Marvel, which offers live superhero-themed entertainment. Upscale options include 1923, a restaurant honoring Disney Animation Studios, and adult-exclusive venues like Palo Steakhouse and Enchante, inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

For onboard entertainment, families can enjoy Broadway-style shows like Disney the Tale of Moana at the Walt Disney Theatre, the AquaMouse water coaster with a new Curse of the Golden Egg theme, and a Toy Story-inspired splash zone. Adult passengers can unwind at immersive spaces like the Haunted Mansion Parlor and Skipper Society, drawing from classic Disney park attractions.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor, an exclusive adults-only bar on the Treasure cruise ship, draws its inspiration from Disney’s iconic theme park attraction.

As Disney’s experiences division posted record revenue of $34.15 billion in fiscal 2024, driven by 5% growth, the Treasure reflects the company’s innovative approach to family cruising. Seven-night trips aboard the Treasure start at $4,277 for two guests and $6,994 for a family of four, with premium pricing for holiday-themed cruises.

Disney continues to stand out in the cruise industry with its focus on storytelling and guest-centric design, cementing its position as a leader in multigenerational travel experiences.
