Diptyque has announced significant leadership changes to drive its next growth phase.

Laurence Semichon, previously SVP of Brand, has been promoted to CEO of Diptyque globally, effective July 1. She succeeds Fabienne Mauny, who led the company for 16 years and has now become Operating Partner at Manzanita Capital and Diptyque’s President.

Nicolas Floquet, former COO, is now Deputy CEO to support Semichon. Semichon expressed her excitement, calling it “a great honour” to lead Diptyque, especially after its “most successful year ever in 2023.”

Diptyque is a luxury fragrance brand known for their scented candles, with Taylor Swift as one of its loyal customers.

Chris Garek has stepped down from his roles at Manzanita Capital and Diptyque. Bill Fisher, Chairman of Manzanita Capital, stated that these changes will enable “solid, profitable and sustainable growth.”

There are no changes to Diptyque’s UK leadership team, with Amanda Morgan continuing as UK MD.

Diptyque has also opened two new ‘maison’ concept stores in London and Paris to support its future expansion.
