Ben Affleck has purchased a $20.5 million estate in Los Angeles’ Sullivan Canyon neighborhood following his reported split from Jennifer Lopez. The new property, located next to Diane Keaton’s home, marks a fresh start after Affleck and Lopez listed their shared 38,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion, which they owned for just over a year.

Affleck’s new residence is a renovated equestrian compound originally designed in the 1940s by famed architect Cliff May. Previously owned by David Calvert-Jones, nephew of Rupert Murdoch, and before that by actress Maxine Cooper and screenwriter Sy Gomberg, the property underwent extensive updates under architect Steve Giannetti and designer Kelly Harmon.

Known as Paradise Found, the five-bedroom, five-bath home spans 6,200 square feet on nearly two-thirds of an acre. It includes a fireside living area that doubles as a screening room, a gourmet kitchen with a glass-lined breakfast nook, a formal dining room, a private office, and a primary suite with a sitting area and spa-like bathroom.

Outdoor highlights include a pool and spa in a central courtyard, an open-air cabana, landscaped grounds ideal for entertaining, and a detached guesthouse. There are also horse stables and a three-car garage beside a cobblestone motor court.

In addition to his new Brentwood home, Affleck still owns a private riverfront estate in Georgia, the site of his 2022 wedding celebration with Lopez. Lopez, meanwhile, recently sold her New York penthouse for $25 million and continues to house-hunt in Los Angeles while retaining her $10 million Hamptons estate.
