All Nippon Airways (ANA) has launched a new in-flight safety video featuring beloved Pokémon characters Pikachu and Eevee. The videos, which are being shown on ANA’s special Pokémon-themed jets—the Pikachu Jet NH and Eevee Jet NH—are designed to engage passengers of all ages with safety instructions delivered by the Pokémon, alongside ANA’s cabin crew.

The collaboration between ANA and The Pokémon Company began in March 2023 with the “Pokémon Air Adventures” campaign, which introduced these specially painted aircraft. The safety videos aim to provide a fun yet informative experience, featuring Japanese-English narration, multi-lingual subtitles in 18 languages, and even sign language support. A second video, shown during disembarkation, follows Pikachu as it navigates through the airport, highlighting ANA’s team spirit.

The videos are now live on international flights from ANA’s hub at Tokyo Haneda Airport, offering a unique and entertaining way to ensure passenger safety.
