Just in time for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Air France has introduced its first lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The 11,840-square-foot space, located on the sixth floor of Tom Bradley International Terminal’s (TBIT) West Concourse, is part of the airline’s global investment in lounges. “The reason for opening a lounge at LAX was very simple,” said Zoran Jelkic, Air France-KLM’s senior vice president for long-haul operations. “Together with KLM, Air France has seven flights per day out of LAX.”

Reaching the lounge requires a 10 to 15-minute walk through an underground passageway from the main TBIT area. However, once inside, guests are greeted by a 172-seat space featuring tarmac views, signature blue and white decor with red accents, and a brasserie-style dining area serving French classics like Monkfish Provencale, Beef Bourguignon, and Salade Nicoise. An open kitchen offers on-demand items such as pan-fried prawns and cassoulet with duck confit.

The lounge also boasts a full-service bar offering wines, champagnes, cocktails, and mocktails, and a Clarins spa and wellness area opening in September. Passengers can choose from three complimentary mini-facial treatments: “anti-jetlag,” “instant detox,” and “illuminating eye care.” La Première passengers can reserve spa appointments in advance, while business class passengers can check availability upon arrival. Showers are available for those who can’t book a spa treatment.

La Première passengers also enjoy a dedicated private area with a la carte dining and seating for up to 12. The lounge is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and welcomes La Première, business, and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, along with eligible KLM and SkyTeam partner passengers. Delta One customers can also use the lounge, although its location is less convenient for those not flying Air France or KLM.

Air France operates 26 weekly flights between Paris and Los Angeles, including 21 with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with La Premiere suites. The airline also offers up to 5 flights a week between Los Angeles and Papeete (PPT) in French Polynesia.
